Eagle Railcar Services, the nation’s leading provider of railcar repair services, is proud to announce the purchase of two former Watco railcar repair facilities located in Fitzgerald, Georgia and Zwolle, Louisiana. These purchases come on the heels of Eagle buying the former Watco shop in Junction City, Kansas, which was completed in January 2022. These acquisitions align with Eagle’s long-term strategy to increase our overall railcar repair, maintenance, and storage capacities, investing heavily in well-established railcar repair shops, and raising those facilities to their full potential. With the addition of the Fitzgerald and Zwolle locations, Eagle Railcar Services is now comprised of thirteen repair shops located in Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

It is with great heartache that we convey the news of Joe Lawrence Walraven’s death on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
Joe was 81 years old at the time of his death and led an amazing life. He impacted the lives of the people in his community and his companies for the better. Joe enjoyed a good story, a good laugh, a good hunt, and good company. Joe loved life and lived his to the fullest every day.

Railcar repair and maintenance services company Eagle Railcar Services recently announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the assets and personnel of Rescar Companies’ Plant Services Division.

WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Eagle Railcar Services is working towards a third expansion to its Wichita Falls plant.
This will let the company add 7,000 feet of track and bring in over 30 employees to keep shifts running almost around the clock.
It has expanded twice before, thanks to help from the economic development corporation of Wichita Falls.

Washington, IN - A Texas company is investing $18 million into a local city.
Eagle Railcar celebrated its expansion Friday in Washington, Indiana, with a ribbon cutting.
The 150,000 square foot facility will be used for railcar repair and maintenance.
The Mayor and the Lieutenant Governor were on hand for the exciting development, which has already created 100 jobs.
